Today I had a new tenant sign the Property’s lease transfer paperwork (which was surprisingly short), and my own paperwork (that I wrote) that effectively transferred my lease to her, contingent on a security deposit.
I don’t think I could have done it without a lawyer mom, and many years of actually reading contracts, leases, and EULAs.
