Last weekend’s experiment had a damn good reception (we shot around 800 photos of people holding the real trophy with the real trophy girls).

I have a feeling I might be doing weekend photo gigs more often than I originally thought…

AACS-LA threatens Google

Their lawyers are stupid – the DMCA notice itself contains the key they want removed. Didn’t they realize that these types of letters become public record? The key is now pretty much public for anyone who happens to be interested enough to read the DMCA takedown letter.

dorks.

I never thought I’d see it this season. I had almost written the whole prospect off (although I have made plans to go climb the North Face of Round Top via the Dog Leg Coulior… but that’s another story).

However, in a series of landscape changing events, it has been cold, and even snowed on the hills above San Jose!! Therefore, strep be damned, I’m going skiing this weekend.

Freshies!

Today is my Friday!

Tonight, assuming I have my car (which may or may not happen), I’m driving home to my dad’s place. Tomorrow morning, we’re heading up to Oregon to go SnowCat skiing – kind of like helicopter skiing, but immeasurably cheaper and a bit more ghetto.

I’m excited, but a bit worried – I don’t remember how to ski powder from 8 years ago. I’ve been snowboarding for 8 years, and I caught myself up on all the other types of skiing, just not powder (since we haven’t had any fresh powder… damnit!).
