This week’s culinary orgasm goes to: (drumroll please)
Gus’s Mojos. Thats right folks, Gus’s has something even better than their sandwiches. Next time you go to Gus’s, be sure to order Mojos, and smile at the cashier so she’ll give you a few extra.
Mojos are basically fried potatoe wedges covered in a kick-ass seasoning, and served with ranch dressing (keep the ketchup aaway, please). Very very yummy. In fact, I’m gunna go get some…. now.

I need to catch up on the CO’s from the summer:
1) I met a morroccan at Burning Man this summer. He made for me the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. It has black beans, avocado, and ranchero sauce in it. Quite spicy and excellent. Goes well with, get this, pickled lemons — a morrocan specialty. Also good served with mint tea, or for a buzz, a mojito.
2) I hate to toot my own horn (not!), but the french have a delicious sandwhich called a “croque monsieur,” which roughly translates to a crunchy or fried man. Imagine a grilled cheese sandwich. Got it? Ok, now, peel it open, stuff in some ham. Add mustard if you like, and serve with pickles on the side or in the sandwich. Boom, you have today’s Culinary Orgasm.
Make sure you clean up when you’re through.

This week’s culinary orgasm award goes to: Cabo San Luis’s Cabo Nachos with Chicken. By far, the best nachos I’ve had in a long time. Go check them out. Nachos and a soda for around $8.
