Trip to Raleigh, NC got cancelled for bullshit reasons. Spent the day trying to port a screensaver to a standalone app for a performance demo next week. Failed, twice.

I took out some cash for lunch today. The balance line read -$40.

After spending 20 minutes in line at Costco for new contacts, they tell me my prescription is expired, and I have to spend another $75 on an eye exam before they’ll sell me lenses. Eye exam lasts 10 minutes, very cursory, for the doc to say “yup, same prescription.” money well spent..
And the grand finale: I somehow managed to make the girl of my dreams feel pushed away…

You probably thought of this, but…maybe it is time to consider being in closer proximity to your love? Residence-wise?
