St. Patty’s Brunch
Oh holy hell. I’ve never had so much fun in the South Bay on a weekend!
I started the day hungover, and without glasses. After procuring a replacement set of shades, I set out for Nelson’s place with the goal of making brunch (chilequilas, to be exact).
Everyone was pretty much already trashed when I got there. Someone was making eggs benedict, so I shared the kitchen and tried not to get in her way.
By about 12:30pm, I had a mimosa in hand, and chilequilas were being served. Not too long after that, Son arrived and made Bloody Maries, of which I had two.
About 30 minutes later, car bombs - two again.
Nelson brought out the tequila - one there.
He also brought out 140 proof bourbon - one there.
Needless to say, I was **trashed**. I passed out upstairs around 5pm.
1 hour later, my friends walked in, tossed me out of bed, and demanded we go bar hopping in downtown Sunnyvale.
I think I got most of the day’s hangover out of the way then.
We eventually ended up a vietnamese restaurant where Son ordered us a bunch of damn good eats.
The night ended with various people drinking champagne straight from the bottle, listening to music, and watching various funny movie clips until about 12:30am. I slept like a baby, and had no hangover Sunday at all - not sure how I pulled that one off.
Here are the night’s photos:
