Drunk Dial

Posted by rdub in General

Last night was a blast. In order to celebrate Melissa getting into Boston University, and Caesar Chavez’s Birthday, as well, we went to Applebee’s late happy hour (where you can get a Perfect Margarita, which is excellent). After consuming a bit there (and spending the remainder of my cash), we headed over to Mel’s house, where we drank her beer, and awesome Daiquiris! Once being sufficiently buzzed, peoples cell phones were stolen, and I began drunk dialing random people. The count is as follows:

Moms: 1
Girlfriend’s roommates: 2
Doods from Davis: 1
Flexible Gymnists: 3

After completely ammusing ourselves, we busted out Taboo, and played until 2am. In the middle of all this, I was able to sell 2 more CDs! Great night overall!

work

Turns out I can work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so maybe I’ll actually make some money this month. I’m a tad busted.

The question, as always, is do I want to?

Check out my latest pic of Linz. Photoshop was used in the following way:

  1. Blurred background
  2. Gradient Map to Sepia-like tones
  3. Painted some of the original pink back into the lips and cheeks

Ski trip from hell

Posted by rdub in General, photo, oh holy shit

I went skiing today, in the middle of this huge storm. I swear, this world is going to hell in a hand basket. I heard, on the radio, 3 separate severe storm warnings, something I’ve never heard in California. Whats worse, I heard something I never thought I’d hear in my life in California: a Tornado Warning! Note, this is not a Tornado Watch, where you get all freaked about the possibility of a tornado… heheh, oh no, this is an actual funnel cloud siting. What the hell is happening to this world?

Plus, we were stuck in traffic on I-80, due to a fatal car crash ahead of us, for 3 hours.

We were, however, rewarded with this respite on our way home after all the craziness. Oh, and the snow was badass today.
