Musings
Travelling in such a harsh storm was interesting. The airport was strangely empty today, both SJC and BUR. My arrival in Burbank, CA was preceeded by a decent amount of turbulence, and a nice crow-hop on impact with terra ferma.
Finding a shuttle to take me to Athena’s apartment was no issue, though the driver did “educate” me on how her place is not, in fact, in Los Feliz, but it’s in Hollywood. Silly me. :-p
Heading under I-5 when getting on the freeway from Burbank Airport was an interesting experience; I’ve never seen an underpass that flooded. It was up to the bottom of the door sill on a compact car that went through the puddle before our van.
Crazy.
