Last weekend’s experiment had a damn good reception (we shot around 800 photos of people holding the real trophy with the real trophy girls).

I have a feeling I might be doing weekend photo gigs more often than I originally thought…

on terror

Posted by rdub in Rants

Best quote I’ve read in a while, pertaining to this terrible war, terrorism, and the acts of our fearless (hapless?) leader:

“Americans think their danger is terrorists,” said Roberts. “They don’t understand the terrorists cannot take away habeas corpus, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution. … The terrorists are not anything like the threat that we face to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution from our own government in the name of fighting terrorism. Americans just aren’t able to perceive that.”

- From here.

In the words of Benajmin Franklin: “Those that can give up essential liberties for a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

People blow shit up, that’s just what happens. What really scares me are the death of the 5th ammendment, the death of habeas corpus, that Bush has set himself up as a dictator in the event of a (rather loosely defined) “catastrophic emergency.” These are the real terror we face in America.

Wake up people. Read the writing on the wall.

In the words of Bruce Schneier, “Refuse to be terrorized.”

Really, I don’t care who you vote for. I only hope you are in contact with your senators/representatives. All it takes is a phone call… (or an email, even)…

Happy 30th

I finished editing Al and Marisa’s 30th Anniversary photos last night.

This was one helluva party; I had a blast, everyone looked beautiful, and i think everyone had fun.
