the sweetest thing

Last Friday, the sweetest thing ever happened to me.

Thursday night, I came home and noticed a door tag on my door – I had missed a parcel delivery. Thinking back, I didn’t remember ordering anything, except maybe concert tickets, but those come in a letter, not a parcel…

So Friday morning, I drove to the post office, 9am (the earliest they’d accept a pickup).

A rather beat up package came for me – no return address, completely anonymous…
except for the post mark – Rogers, Arkansas…

I opened it up to find, thankfully, everything intact. In it was a mix CD, a note, and a coffee mug. And not just any coffee mug – a “Life is Good” coffee mug. And not just any “Life is Good” coffee mug – a big, heavy one, just like I had said I like a few weeks prior.

serious, serious bonus points.

oh, and I passed my airway management test tonight!
