yay, hippies!!!

I didn’t realize just how hippie I was until this morning, I was heading to ASP baton training, and was advised to wear tennis shoes. I looked all over, and finally realized the awesome truth:

I don’t own tennis shoes, only flip-flops and hiking boots.

Yay, hippies!

In other news, I totally agree with Linz’ post about consumerism:
“I have been, like so many others in this society, sucked into consumerism. Consumerism kills spirit, soul and human connection. It brainwashes us into believing in a false reality where we will always be buying and having and always left unsatisfied and looking for more.”

I only wish I was talented enough to write a cool song about it.
