Good Reviews
Excellent News: All our test marketing on my Family and Noah’s Family has resulted in excellent reviews. Now, all this is somewhat expected from family, but still! Hell, I even had my Uncle Mark ask me all about my creative process — it was all incredibly satisfying, telling someone how it all came to be. He got the inside scoop and got to hear the pre-release versions of the song (all acoustic, very cool, and the vocals, imho, are better). Also, my Uncle Steve says Noah is an excellent drummer, and the bassist, Caleb, is “very good.” Awesomeness!
Also, Christmas has been great; seeing family always makes me happy. I have been more myself lately then ever before, and it feels damn good. It’s funny, I’ve been sitting around, wearing my silly hat, and dressing somewhat off-the-wall, and being my usual, crazy self. I love it.
Hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas as well. (Hopefully, Amanda will IM me about Tahoe, cuz I wanna go board and see old friends again; its been like 6 years since I’ve seen her, and it would be really cool to surf her couch and go boarding and get to know each other again.) Besides, I have nothing to do for New Year’s — what better to do than re-kindle old friendships.
